EU Fit for 55: Maritime FuelEU Regulation
The European Council and Parliament came to an informal agreement on 23 March 2023 regarding the FuelEU Maritime regulation, as a part of the “Fit for 55” policy package to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030 when compared to 1990 levels.
